Unplugged Wants You To Unplug Yourself…

November 23, 2021 ·

For those that have been rocking out with Unplugged you already know how it is to rock the air guitar on stage in front of screaming fans that even Satchel from Steel Panther would approve on. But if you haven’t taken to the stage yet, Unplugged lets you rock out to some of the biggest and most insanely cool songs from rock bands you may know such as Weezer, Tenacious D, The Offspring, and more. Then earlier this month, Unplugged unleashed the tracks, so they are yours for the playing from the start. But the fun of playing air guitar has not stopped as the newest update will have you rocking even more and maybe in front of a live audience (depending on how many people are around you) and includes the following:

  • Rock out and unplug yourself with a brand new song from Steel Panther called Unplug Yourself
  • Get ready for the passthrough stage. This will allow you to blend the virtual stage with the real stage (living room, bed room, or possibly a real stage) with your family and friends cheering (or possibly booing you just because) as you rock out. From the venues selection, there will be a new mixed reality one that will allow you to rock out
  • The PCVR version will also be releasing (HTC Valve Index headsets only)

So are you ready to rock out to a new song? Are you ready to take the stage at the venue where your family and friends can cheer you on? Are you ready to Unplug Yourself? Find out when this free update comes to Oculus Quest/Quest 2 and comes to Steam on December 14, 2021.

Until then…please enjoy…
