KIWI design Knuckle Grips Cover with Battery Opening for Quest 3 – The Review

April 6, 2024 ·

The Touch Plus controllers for the Quest 3 are pretty outstanding. They feel good in the hands; they are light and improve on the things we love about them. But as much as people love them, something stands out about the Touch Plus controllers for the Quest 3. Maybe it’s the ergonomic button layout or the missing ring that has been the standard of the previous generations. One thing that I wish the controllers had was a little more grip. Sure, we can wear the wrist straps and we all probably should, but some don’t and if you are not too careful, the controllers could slip out of your hands, resulting in either damaged controllers or damage to something or someone else. But has KIWI design come up with the solution that we need while adding to the experience of Virtual Reality? Let’s find out with the KIWI design Knuckle Grips Cover with Battery Opening for the Quest 3

The packaging for the Grips is simple with KIWI design printed on the top center.

Looking inside, we have the instruction booklet, the covers, the extra battery pull tabs, and the Grips covers. One thing to notice is how the Grips have the straps to make sure when you are playing with the Quest 3, that you don’t have to worry about anything slipping out of your hands.

Looking closer at the Grips, you have the R and L for right and left, so there is no cause for any mistakes. Also, notice the exact cutouts for the Touch Plus controllers.

And so there is no confusion the battery covers also have the L and R for left and right. There is also a slot for the battery pull tabs to pull when you need to swap out the batteries when needed.

Notice how the Knuckle Grips Cover with Battery Opening fits snugly and nicely with the controllers.

After inserting the batteries, place the battery pull tab inside and close the door without concern about the doors coming open or the batteries falling out.

There is plenty of room for various sizes of hands for the straps to fit around. Ultimately, KIWI design has successfully achieved its intended objectives yet again of coming up with the solution we needed while allowing players to grip their experience with the Touch Plus controllers and Virtual Reality to another level.

The KIWI design Knuckle Grips Cover with Battery Opening for the Quest 3 is out now and you can order yours now by visiting the KIWI design site.
