Too Many Places To Keep Track Of Your VR Paid Subscriptions?

April 17, 2021 ·

Sometimes trying to remember which paid VR application is for can be cumbersome. Now, there are many who do not subscribe to paid VR apps such as VSpatial or VZfit, and that can be perfectly fine for those that don’t want to. But there are also many who do and enjoy what those apps have to offer such as FitXR or even Rec Room (with Rec Room Plus) and that is perfectly fine as well. But wouldn’t it be great to maintain all those subscriptions in one place via the Oculus Quest platform? Well, wonder no more because it looks like Oculus announced that on April 15, 2021 (and should be live), that it is supporting the subscriptions right from the start. Not only does this make it easier for you, but makes it easier for the companies as well since Oculus is pretty much acting like the gateway for all parties. Plus, it’s a nice way not to see everything coming with no misunderstandings in the process. And another good thing is free trials for those paid apps could be coming as well thanks to Oculus inner workings which can be canceled at any time so you won’t be surprised and be charged if is something you are not completely sure about.

I for one think this is a great idea. If your favorite VR platform is the Oculus Quest/Quest 2, why not have everything in one place, make it easily accessible, and without any surprises?
