Downpour Interactive Is Now Part Of Facebook…

May 4, 2021 ·

Developer of the popular VR game, Onward, Downpour Interactive has now been acquired by Facebook. This may not be too surprising with the game releasing on Oculus Quest. This gave Facebook not only to see the potential of the vision that the company has but along with the hard work, proves that it might just pay off. The whole team is said to be moved to Facebook in some type of capacity, which is good if everyone still gets to be employed. With new updates and plans still coming to Onward, it’s going to be very interesting to see what games will come from the studio which more than likely will be exclusive to Oculus and Facebook.
