Nature Wants To Test Your Survivor Skills On PlayStation VR2 And Steam VR…

January 28, 2024 ·

Back in October of 2023, we heard about Suvivorman VR: The Descent was coming to the Meta Quest 2,3, & Pro as well as coming to Steam VR. In this chilling, virtual reality survival adventure sim based on the hit television series Survivorman, you find yourself scrambling for safety as the sole survivor of a helicopter crash. Trapped on an Arctic mountain with little time before freezing to death, you must explore the perilous landscape, harnessing your wit, ingenuity, and survival skills to make it through the challenging journey back to civilization. Fortunately, you are guided by survival expert (and Survivorman star) Les Stroud.

Features include:

  • Shiveringly Realistic: The PSVR2 and Steam versions of Survivorman VR: The Descent feature significantly improved graphics following the Meta Quest release
  • Learn from a True Survival Legend: Les Stroud is an iconic survivalist who has proven time and time again he’s the best there is at what he does. Luckily, he’ll be your guide during your own authentic survival experience in Survivorman VR
  • Authentic First-Person Adventure: Explore a truly immersive world that will include all of the extremes of mountain-top survival
  • Fire, Shelter, Food: Surviving extreme environments means you must pay attention to the state of your body. Keep a close eye on body temperature, fatigue, and hunger with a handy diegetic HUD-like display mounted on your wrist
  • No Monsters, No Guns: The natural world presents more terror and danger than any fiction. Test your skills against real-world threats like deadly snowstorms, freezing temperatures, and an environment not built for human beings
  • Cutting Edge VR Tech: Les Stroud is brought to life using Cream’s patented proprietary technology Dynamic Digital Humans (DDH), created in partnership with Sheridan Screen Industries Research and Training Centre (SIRT), to produce realistic-looking 3D avatars for VR and AR

Are you ready to test your skills? Are you ready for the extreme conditions? Are you ready to survive? Find out when Survivorman VR: The Descent comes to PlayStation VR2 and Steam VR on February 15, 2024, and is also available for the Quest 2, 3, & Pro on the Meta Store.

Until then…please enjoy…
