Claim Your Asgard’s Wrath Promotion…

November 24, 2020 ·

With the one year anniversary of Oculus Link, Oculus was looking to do a pretty good thing for anyone who bought an Oculus Quest 2 and activated it from November 20, 2020 – January 31, 2021, and also used the Oculus Link cable would receive a copy of Asgard’s Wrath for free. But keep in mind, for those that preordered the Oculus Quest 2 back in September, received it, or picked up on lunch day on October 13th, and then activated it before this promotion, were out of luck. And that is a lot of players who would have been penalized (some may feel that way) for preordering it. But Oculus has heard what many have been saying and that they too want to receive their copy and have answered and what truly is an awesome thing to do by allowing those that who preordered or received and activated their Oculus Quest 2 to also receive Asgard’s Wrath for the promotion.

So in order to be able to claim the game, will need to do the following:

  1. Go to the Oculus Support link.
  2. Select I am having an issue with Oculus Software or Content.
  3. Enter your Name and email address in the fields.
  4. In the details section, add your Username, the Unit S/N (found on the outside of the box), and under the right Touch controller (battery door) is the Device S/N.
  5. Attach a copy of the receipt for the Oculus Quest 2 to show when it was ordered/picked up/delivered (if you bought the Oculus Link cable at the same time or near the same time, you can include that as well).
  6. Then click submit. You don’t have to, but if you wanted to chat with support just to make sure they have everything they need, it might help as that way you are not receiving an email stating they need additional requirements.

That’s really it. With it being Thanksgiving this week in the U.S., just be respectful and patient with them and hopefully if all goes well, Asgard’s Wrath should show up in your library and you can have even more fun with the Oculus Quest 2.

Just keep in mind that Asgard’s Wrath requires an activated Quest 2, a Link cable with the associated PC software, and a compatible PC for use. The promotion will continue through Jan 31, 2021.

In case you missed the trailer…please enjoy…
