Until You Fall is still one of those times in VR that you really need to be immersed in to understand the general consensus of the enjoyment that is to be had within its world. But as many of us have fought, fallen, and risen again to accept the challenge, it seems that developer Schell Games is looking to keep up with their stream of maintaining and updating so you can become the best Champion you can be. And with that, comes the new Version 1.3 update that is bringing some additional weapons and a lot more…
Three new weapons –
- Cold Iron Greataxe, a two-handed axe that grows stronger as its wielder takes damage from their enemies. This weapon comes equipped with the Vicious Strike Super, allowing Rune Knights to sacrifice their own health for a devastating attack that ignores an enemy’s guard
- Captain’s Warhammer, a two-handed giant hammer commonly used by Rokari Captains and Honor Guards. This heavy-hitter is imbued with the Bulwark Super, further accenting its prowess in defense and bursts of deliberate, methodical punishment
- Fate’s End, an epic greatsword of legendary power, scale, and weight; a fantastical finale of weaponry; an Unravel buster, if you will. This weapon’s Titan’s Strength Super allows a Rune Knight to wield all two-handed weapons in a single hand, as though they were being held in two hands, for a limited duration
New Updates –
- Smooth turning
- Localization of UI, game text, and VO subtitles for multiple additional languages (English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Japanese)
- Seven new achievements along with updates made to existing achievements
- Several bug fixes
And it looks like this new update will be coming to Quest, Rift, Steam VR, and Viveport platforms on March 17, 2022.
Until You Fall is out now on Oculus Rift/S and Quest/Quest 2 on the Oculus Store, PlayStation VR, and Steam VR.
