With the Quest 3 improving with every update, the headset provides a lot of benefits, and with that benefit comes using the Quest 3 for longer periods. Unfortunately, we all enjoy when we use it until we receive that notice that there is only a small percentage of battery before the Quest 3 needs recharging, and eventually, the Quest Touch Plus Controllers will run out of battery power, and before you know it, we have to escape the reality we would rather be in than this made up real-life reality. Some will then simply place the Quest 3 on a table or desk charge it and wait until it is charged. Then you have to charge the Touch Plus Controllers separately and can all become a problem if we let it. But what if you could display your Quest 3 and Touch Plus Controllers and charge them all in place? This very well could be the solution for some. Let’s check out the ZyberVR Quest 3 Sky Tower Charging Dock.

First, let’s look at the features:
- Technological Experience.: Combining our charging dock with a space station design and a ring-shaped RGB light strip adds a futuristic tech vibe to your charging experience
- 30W Magnetic Fast Charging: Ensures fast charging for your Quest3 headset with a high power output of 15V=2A, reaching up to 30W. Charge your headset up to 60% in 1 hour and fully charge it in 2 hours
- Rechargeable Battery for Controller: Replace disposable AA batteries with this 1000mAh battery, which can be recharged over 500 times for long-term use
- Compatibility and Convenience: Compatible with third-party head straps and equipped with an additional 5V=2A 10W output
- Stylish Ambient Lighting: With three different lighting modes, our charging dock brings different atmospheric experiences. With a do-not-disturb mode, it ensures peaceful nights without disturbing your sleep

Inside the box, you have everything packaged nicely along with the instructions. Taking everything out, we have the base, stand, power adapter, USB C cables, new Touch Plus Controller battery covers, and rechargeable batteries. In looking at everything, you may not even need the instructions as it’s that easy to put everything together.

With the stand firmly in the base, we get to see that the center front is the Zyber and the inserts for the Touch Plus Controllers. With the side, you can see the distance where the Quest 3 will sit, and on the back, there are the DC, USB output, USB C input, USB C output, and power button.

The magnetic charging cable plugs into the USB C port behind the stand. The magnetic plugs are inside the case with the rechargeable batteries. With the power turned on, you can see ambient lighting. There are three different options when it comes to the lighting, which you select from touch the Zyber wording, Icy Blue, Spectrum Cycling, and Wheel.

With the Quest 3 connected to the Sky Tower Charging Dock and the power on, the stand will turn to purple indicating that the Quest 3 is charging and blue, when charging has completed. If you do not want any lighting at all, but still be able to charge the Quest 3, you have that option as well.

Now, with the rechargeable batteries, you will want to make sure the gold plates are facing towards you, if not, the Touch Plus Controllers will not charge.

With the batteries inserted correctly and the Touch Plus Controllers inserted correctly, you can see the small purple lights that indicate the controllers are charging. And just like the stand, when the controllers are fully charged, those lights will turn to blue. And again, if you do not want the stand or base to light up, you don’t have to and both the controllers and Quest 3 will charge.

Having used the ZyberVR Quest 3 Sky Tower Charging Dock, it does solve a couple of things. For one, it does charge the Quest 3 and Touch Plus Controllers so you are never without a charge. Second, the ambient lighting, and finally, the look. And with the built-in smart chip, everything should be safe as well as displaying everything as neatly as possible. But there is something I would love to see if there is a version 2 of this stand or similar. The ability to select your own color on the base. I also like how the stand will showcase the color due to it being plastic. But it might be kinda cool if the base itself was all clear and then having the ability to have lights moving throughout as a different option might be pretty fantastic.
