If You Have An Oculus Quest 2, Check Your Email…

July 27, 2021 ·

If you have an Oculus 2, there has been a voluntary recall for the removable foam facial interface. Back in December of 2020, the extension of Oculus’s replacement facial interface campaign had a very small number of users that may have experienced skin irritation from the foam portion resting on the skin. And to make sure everyone who has an Oculus Quest 2 doesn’t experience the same thing (again a very small percentage of people have reported this), Oculus has begun sending out emails allowing for a free silicone cover for both the Oculus Quest 2 interface accessory and the Oculus Quest 2 FIt Pack owners. The free silicone covers should begin shipping in the next 4 weeks and again this is a free voluntary upgrade as Oculus is dedicated to creating safe and unbelievable experiences for everyone.
