It is that time of the year when the days are getting shorter, nights are longer, and the haunts are spookier than ever. And to keep up with the Halloween season, it looks like we have even more detail about what is to come. Back in September 2021, we were introduced to the game called Do Not Open which is going to bring us survival horror based on real events and best of all, no save points. Then just a few months later, we got some new information and screenshots with a release goal of 2022. Then in January 2022, we received the news that Do Not Open would have a physical release.
But now, even more information about the game has been unleashed. The game is coming out for both PS4 and PS5. However, since PlayStation VR2 is coming in 2023, the developers would like to focus on the best possible VR definitive experience. Since the focus will be on the PlayStation VR2, the sad news is that the VR element has been removed from the PS4 version.
As much as I was hoping it was still coming to PlayStation VR, with all the power that PlayStation VR2 will have, I can only imagine what is in store and cannot wait. And we don’t have to wait that much longer as the PS5 digital version will be released on both the USA and UK PlayStation Store in both on November 25, 2022, and the Physical Edition will be released on November 25, 2022, across Europe and the United States release in early 2023 along with the PS4 Physical Edition as well as being available on the Perp Game Store.
