HTC Discontinues Two VR Headsets…

March 15, 2020 ·

It turns out that HTC has decided to discontinue two of its Virtual Reality headset and replacing them with two newer headsets. The HTC Vive Pro that was released in 2018 and HTC Vive Focus. So you might be wondering if those two devices are discontinued, what will replace them? That’s a very good question to ask. The HTC Vive Pro is now going to be replaced by the new HTC Vive Cosmos while the HTC Vive Focus is being replaced with the Vive Focus Plus. Hopefully, this will help clear up some of the confusion of the many variations of VR headsets that HTC offers. But if you have been waiting on a deal, you can get the HTC Vive PRO (HMD unit) only for the new reduced price of $599, but keep in mind this is just the headset only and you still need the sensors and controllers. If you are looking for the Enterprise Vive Focus, it too can be had for $599.
