Ever since we heard about VR Skater released on Early Access for Steam VR and the news that it was coming to PlayStation VR2 and then earlier this month that a physical edition would be released as well, there have been some questions that many players had including how well would skateboarding work in VR, what kind of tricks could be accomplished, and how would the PlayStation VR2 features be used. It looks like the adaptive triggers will be used for adjusting the tension when steering and when you the controls of the PlayStation VR2, some of the tricks that you have come to know and love will be able to be performed just like they would in real life. You will also be able to customize your own boards with wheels, decks, and grip tape to give you that individual separation from the rest. But, what if you don’t like what’s there and you wanted to upload custom textures? This will be part of the customization part of the game. So it will be interesting to see what players will design.

Still, we won’t have to wait long to kickflip the start of Summer when VR Skater comes releases digitally on PlayStation VR2 and also releases physically from the Perp Game Store and a retailer near on you June 9, 2023.
Until then…please enjoy…
