Winds & Leaves Receives New Updates…

September 27, 2021 ·

Back when I reviewed Winds & Leaves it was an overall enjoyable experience and really nothing like it on PlayStation VR. But there were some minor issues that I would hope would be addressed such as additional control options, removing the VR guardian grid, and I did experience a few crashes. Well, developer TREBUCHET has been hard at work to make sure these issues and a few more have been addressed with the new 1.06 patch for the game and includes the following updates:

  • High crash rate issue solved
  • Added better anti-aliasing
  • Smoother visuals with LOD fade effect added for all the world’s leaves
  • Added smooth rotation and more increments in the fixed rotation settings
  • Enhanced PS5 visuals with even more anti-aliasing and farther draw distance for all objects
  • Removed the intense VR guardian which often broke the immersion
  • Faster load times
  • Fixed other bugs (like some audio buzzing issues, we provided a way to unstuck the players who managed to be blocked in the terrain, etc.)

This really shows the developer listens to the feedback and wanting to make sure your time with Wind & Leaves is the most enjoyable one. The update is live, so make sure you go and download it now.

Until then…please enjoy…
