AFFECTED: The Manor Wants You To Enter Its Doors On PlayStation VR2…

December 17, 2023 ·

Over the years, in fact, since 2019, it seems that the developer, Fallen Planet Studio, has all the good intentions of increasing the scares of the visuals and sounds to new levels. From the original AFFECTED: The Manor that allowed us to enter its doors for the first time to AFFECTED: The Manor Complete Edition with updated visual and aural design along with new features that only the strong-hearted should dare attempt. One thing is for sure, if we are not the ones experiencing it for ourselves, at least we can get enjoyment watching those that do. Well, it looks like those who might have been wondering what the game might look like or be like on PlayStation VR2 don’t have to wonder anymore as the experience is now part of the platform.

For those that may not be familiar with AFFECTED: The Manor, experience horror, unlike anything you’ve known before as you try to escape The Manor. Terror lurks around every corner as you venture deeper into the abandoned house and find that the only thing keeping you alive is your sanity. Or lack thereof…

But the Complete Edition includes the following modes:

  • THE GAUNTLET is a spooky speedrun mode with each player ranked by their time, and how much they screamed! Compete in global leaderboards to set the best time!
  • The DARKNESS brings a whole new experience as you attempt to work your way through unseen areas of The Manor with only your candle to cast light into the darkness.

But good news who own AFFECTED: The Manor for PlayStation VR as you can upgrade to the PlayStation VR2 version for free.

But what if you just have the original non-Complete Edition and are still seeing a cost for the upgrade to the PlayStation VR2 version? First, you will need to upgrade the base version to the Complete Edition on PlayStation VR as it is free and then you should be able to see the PlayStation VR2 free upgrade. An interesting thing to note about this upgrade as it allows for both the PlayStation VR and PlayStation VR2 versions, if you download the PlayStation VR version, you will need about 3.24 GB of space while the PlayStation VR2 version will only need about 1.83 GB of space. So it will be interesting to see what Fallen Planet Studios has done for the PlayStation VR2 version.

AFFECTED: The Manor Complete Edition is available now on the PlayStation Store and will be part of the PlayStation Store Holiday Sale with a 30% discount.

Until then…please enjoy…
