Sometimes You Just Need To Be Unplugged…

December 14, 2020 ·

You have this dream. The dream of hearing the music, picking up that guitar, and just playing as the music starts to flow. But what if you don’t have that musical talent and it takes Virtual Reality to make your guitar god dreams come true? Well, get ready to hear the applaud and boos of the crowd as you try to hit the notes. And now it looks like Developer Anotherway is partnering with Vertigo Games to bring the dreams of guitar playing one step closer to Virtual Reality. In the trailers below, what seems to be really awesome is the hand tracking of the Oculus Quest/Oculus Quest 2. Now, it will be interesting to see if you can use your own songs from your collection, certain songs, or will there be a catalog of songs to be explored? Just think of playing songs from some of the ’60s through the present as you could be playing the Beatles to even Slash from Guns N’ Roses.

Get ready for when Unplugged comes to VR in Q3 of 2021.

Until then….please enjoy…
